I’m Brianne Hidalgo, a documentary birth, newborn and family photographer and videographer based in
Las Vegas Nevada.
I have a passion for story telling and creating heirlooms through photos and films. But it’s really more than that, my sessions are like time capsules. I believe every family deserves to have a look back at exactly who they were when it all began, how they loved, played, laughed, where the kids grew up.
It’s bedhead with morning snuggles, it’s kids climbing all over mom and dad like a jungle gym, it’s the chaos of bedtime, bath time and all the in betweens. It’s birth and first moments…. it’s real, beautiful and something you’ll never want to forget.
Clean intentional images with a little artistic flair is my jam. I offer my clients a variety of humor, sweetness (sometimes a little salt, haha!), real emotion, and authenticity. For the most part, my sessions are completely hands off in the posing department. However, I will lead session in gentle ways to make everybody comfortable and get shots I just can’t resist and that I know my clients will love.
As a Las Vegas photographer, I get asked a lot about locations. I love doing in-home sessions but I’m open to anything. The most important thing to me is that we figure out a place that is special to your family. There are some restrictions, as many locations around the city require permits but we’ll talk about ideas when you book.
We talk in detail about what you want out of your session so that I can get to work on making it perfect for you.
A bit about me…
I graduated with an bachelor of fine arts degree in 2007 and am a bit art obsessed! This is why I’m drawn to create images you haven’t seen before- I would get so bored if I had to do the same thing every time.
I married my college sweetheart and we have one beautiful daughter together. We moved to Vegas in 2015 from the Bay Area, CA, and although we deeply miss the sand in our toes and sea breeze in our faces, we love this little piece of desert we call home.
I love food- cooking it, eating it, and growing it! But mostly eating it.
I once sold artisan pickles while wearing a pickle costume- the photo is out there somewhere!
My husband and I are planning to own an artist retreat in Ecuador where artists of all sorts can stay, create and explore. And I’ll document it all!
